Procurement Coordinator

Reporting to the Lead, Contracts and Sourcing, the Procurement Coordinator is responsible for assisting with contract administration for IT goods and services within the Technology and Innovation group

**Responsibilities**:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Responsible for entering contracts into Teck’s contract management systems (Ivalua)
- Support in the loading and managing of competitive bidding packages within Ivalua and readying for distribution
- Distributing various legal documents for execution with electronic signature tool Adobe Sign
- Coordinate vendor set up for external parties and assist accounting / project team with verification and processing of invoices
- Maintain integrity of information within contracts management system
- Coordinate and attend internal contract stakeholder meetings, track deliverables and action items
- Weekly reporting on contracts action log
- Provide quarterly report to Finance on material Contracts and commitments

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a university or college
- 2 years’ of relevant experience
- General knowledge of information technology hardware and software
- Attention to detail, and highly organized and methodical thinker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Loves technology and has excellent computer skills and must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Acrobat Pro
- A self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is comfortable working within a team and independently
- Passionate about customer service and sales and thrives in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Critical thinking with strong analytical skills and strong work ethic
- Experience using Ivalua is ideal but not essential
