**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Study plans and specifications to become familiar with project requirements.
- Manage project estimating processes, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Development of bills of materials and material procurement.
- Adhere to company quality control procedures and documentation policy.
- Insure staff are provided with proper documentation related to project.
- Collaborate with staff, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
**Skills**
- Strong project management skills with the ability to build effective teams.
- Experience in construction estimating and budgeting processes.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate team members towards achieving project goals.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in project management within the steel and pipe fabrication industry
- Structural or Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Project Management Professional (minimum)
