We are currently hiring for the position of Culinary Clerk.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Follow all proper food handling procedures
- Ensure food quality meets Nature's Emporium standards
- Assists in all food service operations and day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures with current menu items, portions, and ingredients.
- Prepare ingredients, then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within the forecasted range
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared promptly by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery
- Set up and clean station according to store protocol
- Maintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
- Performs any other tasks as required by the Kitchen Manager
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must have previous experience in a kitchen environment
