- Are you ready to lead a digital team in transforming the way we manage archaeology and heritage information? We are seeking an innovative PastPort Coordinator to lead our digital team in the development, design, and implementation of cutting-edge strategies and business solutions.

In this role, you will provide expert research, analysis, and planning, while managing and leading the discovery and delivery of new and updated digital systems and products. Your leadership will be crucial in re-engineering business processes and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to optimize service delivery and meet future program and initiative needs.

**What is PastPort?**
Ontario's Past Portal (PastPort) is the government's secure online archaeology and heritage portal that supports the province's regulatory responsibilities under the Ontario Heritage Act. PastPort houses the Ontario Public Register of Archaeological Reports and the Ontario Archaeological Sites Database. Licensed archaeologists use PastPort to report their archaeological work to the ministry, including information about the archaeological sites they discover.

**About the job**: In this role, you will:

- Consult with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, conduct business analysis and manage projects for new/updated digital systems and products to meet future needs.
- Develop business cases and proposals for process or system improvements, including options and risk analyses.
- Lead development of documentation, process mapping, and business process improvements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment, developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop performance measures and program evaluation, testing new digital products/services.
- Collaborate with teams across the Ontario Public Service

**What you bring to the team**:
**Technical knowledge and Skills**:

- You have knowledge of the digital marketplace, digital platforms and technology and market trends to identify product and service opportunities
- You can use tools like user research, journey maps, personas, and stakeholder maps to understand and improve services
- You have knowledge of the OPS Digital Service Standard approach and service design projects and principles and experience providing leadership in product development, delivery and implementation and the ability to lead teams
- You can turn research and insights into clear ideas for improving services, especially with a technology focus

- You can plan and lead projects from initial concept through completion within specific timelines
- You can provide project leadership and advice to an assigned team of professionals
- You can handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving environment

- You can assess the effectiveness of strategies and business solutions against Ministry initiatives and goals
