Rental Network is a growing rental company, based in Squamish, BC and serving, the Sea to Sky corridor and beyond. We are hiring an In Store Sales Associate / Rental Coordinator. This position is responsible for front line customer service, assisting customers to select the right piece of equipment for their job. You must be professional and courteous as this job requires constant interaction with customers. **Must have experience and knowledge of construction equipment and general tools, specifically earth moving equipment, aerial equipment, lawn and garden equipment and hand and power tools. Basic computer skills are a must.**

**Position Duties**
- Rents equipment / sells service to customer
- Prepares rental forms and contracts, obtains customer signature and other information as required
- Explains rental fees and provides information about rental items such as operation or description
- Answers telephone and receives orders by phone
- Recommends items to customers to meet their demands
- Reserves items for requested times and maintains reservation file
- Arranges showroom displays, keeping them clean, stocked and organized
- Inventories equipment and advises manager of shortages
- Assists customer with loading and unloading of equipment, demonstrates operational and safety features
- May fill propane cylinders from time to time
- Resolves customers problems
- Write work orders for customer repairs
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
- Attend department, store and safety meetings
- Perform other duties as requested

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Drivers license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must possess sales and customer service relation skills
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and power equipment preferred.
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience.
