The self storage attendant is responsible for overseeing all operations in a facility that offers storage space rentals while providing excellent customer service to all AMJ Campbell Self Storage customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as the first point of contact for new and existing customers to establish a rapport and build confidence in AMJ Campbell Self Storage services
- Asks open-ended, probing questions to determine customer requirements and expectations
- Directly and accurately inputs information into self storage software while ensuring system is up to date
- Makes recommendations according to customer's needs on storage requirements, boxes, supplies and equipment
- Prepares all move-related paperwork and documents on a daily basis
- ensures that the storage units are clean and that security systems are functioning
- handles onsite payment processing and completing administrative tasks such as filing relevant paperwork and invoices for clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or post graduate is preferred
- A minimum of six months to one year of customer service and/or office experience is required; -Outside or inbound sales and/ or moving industry experience is considered an asset
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Good grammar skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
- Consistent attention to detail
- Confidence to initiate customer contact, and comfortable with sales
- Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills

This job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated AMJ Campbell Self Storage franchise located in Ottawa, Ontario.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

**Benefits**:
