**Rehabilitation Equipment Service Technician**

Lawtons Home Health Care is looking for a Rehabilitation Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Dartmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to build a very rewarding career providing essential services for people with mobility limitations and daily living needs in our community.

The Rehabilitation Equipment Service Technician is responsible to provide exceptional customer service through the provision of quality workmanship. Responsible for technical service and assembly of Rehabilitation and Home Health Care equipment.

**Job Description**:
Customer Service
- Manage Rehabilitation and Home Health Care equipment repairs
- Ensure parts required for repair are in stock
- Ability to use mechanical tools (repair, adjust wheelchairs & related products)
- Perform Custom Modifications - assess, assemble, install
- Installation of wheelchair accessories
- Vehicle installations
- Share technical expertise with team and clients
- Other duties as assigned by the Rehab Manager

Personal/Professional Development
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety guidelines, policies and regulations
- Attend all training and certification courses
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Actively contribute to a positive and productive work environment
- Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Required:

- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be bondable and have a clean driving abstract
- Ability to use mechanical tools (repair, adjust wheelchairs & related products)

Preferred:

- Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
- Experience working as an automotive technician or other related field
- Experience with health care equipment
- Experience working in healthcare or rehabilitation field
