**Position**:Part-Time Respite Instructor (Union Position)

**Rate of Pay**:$21.74/hour

**Current Location**:7465 Kipling Avenue, Woodbridge

**Hours and Days of Work**

Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a Diploma or degree program in a related field (Developmental Services Worker, Social Service Worker, Community Service Worker, Behavioural Science, Recreation and Leisure)
- 1 year working experience with people that have developmental disabilities, specifically autism
- Must have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively as a team and individually
- Must have experience dealing with challenging behaviors because of the possibility of working with aggressive clients
- Must have a valid G driver’s licence
- French language is an asset

**Job Duties**
- To work hands on with individuals that have developmental disabilities in a recreational and leisure environment
- Responsible for a number of clients. Follow through on curriculums, help clients develop their skills, supporting clients on community outings, and completing any necessary paperwork and other related duties.
- Responsible for transporting clients in company vans to outings and to/from programs
