**Your role and responsibilities**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the PAEN Excitation in Canada.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Participate in the drafting/improvement of assembly instructions for the various production areas in the plant.
- Create drawings of work areas.
- Establish kanbans for wire, chute and production consumables.
- Improve manufacturing processes, performance verification and methods with clear acceptance criteria.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent will be given priority
- Proficiency in Office suite (Project and Excel)
- Good knowledge of AutoCad
- Reading of drawings and electrical diagrams
- Excel scripting and programming experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of electrical standards (ANSI, CSA, IEEE, UL and others) an asset
- French mandatory
