**Laboratory Manager**

We are currently looking for a permanent
full-time Laboratory Manager. The
coordinating all laboratory activities to
ensure the provision of an efficient, reliable
and comprehensive laboratory service. The
laboratory department provides testing for
the following disciplines: Hematology,
Chemistry, Immunohematology (Transfusion
Services), Serology, Electrocardiograms, and
Holter Monitoring.

This will be accomplished through active

**Qualifications**:
registration and a minimum of six years’
experience as a technologist in a medical
excellent communication and strong
interpersonal skills. An ART in hematology or
chemistry, previous supervisory experience
and bilingualism in French and English would
be an asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of laboratory employees as

well as performing duties of a Registered
Laboratory Technologist
- Development of policies and procedure
- will act as a liaison with physicians, staff,
- public and other departments
- Report to the Laboratory Medical Director

and the Vice President of Clinical
Services/Chief Nursing Officer
- Demonstrates effective supervisory skills

combined with exceptional problem
solving and change management abilities
- Complete duties of a Quality Officer

**Benefits**:
This position offers a competitive compensation
package including paid vacation and sick leave,
health and dental benefits, life insurance and
pension plan. Starting wage is $51.694 to
$58.189 depending on experience.
