**Job Overview**:
Jewish Family Services is looking for a full time (40 hrs/week) Home Support Contractor. Shifts may be scheduled between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, on weekdays, on weekends, as well as in the evenings as required. This role requires having a safe and reliable vehicle due to traveling requirements for this position.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Offer friendly, compassionate companionship to the client, engage in conversations, listen attentively, and maintain an uplifting attitude
- Accompany the client outside their home which could include going for walks, to a mall, and appointments
- Maintain professional boundaries with the client
- Transport client as needed and if approved by Home Support Assistant

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with seniors
- Have, or ability to obtain, a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Compassion and patience when working with clients
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle. $2M PLPD
- Fluency in English

**Rate of Pay**:
$20/hour. Mileage will be paid if transportation of client is required. As a Contractor, you are responsible for paying your own government deductions including income tax.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
