As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in supervising all restaurant functions and the daily operations of the business. You will work closely with the restaurant team in achieving A&W Restaurant objectives in guest experience, operating standards and financial results.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Work together with Restaurant General Manager to maximize overall restaurant profitability and operational efficiency
- Complete daily, weekly, and period accounting
- Manage inventory control, ordering and inventory counts
- Day to day shift management, including scheduling, staff supervision, cash management and guest satisfaction

People management and development
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant team members
- Develop and maintain an open, enjoyable, and motivating work environment

Compliance to all brand standards and Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Ensure team member safety and employment regulations are always maintained

Maintain A&W guest service standards including exceptional guest service, speed of service, quality and consistency of food products and cleanliness of the restaurant

**Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Two years of supervisory or one year of management experience in a QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant Operating Systems and Operating Standards
- Passion to achieve excellence in guest satisfaction, food quality and facility cleanliness
- Strong Leadership Skills - including communication, time management, problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Eligible to work in Canada
