**Job Summary**

We are looking for a motivated skilled labourer/carpenter to join our team. You will join our crew and play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks to support our projects. Our small company specializes with mobile and modular housing setups and service work. This is includes interior and exterior repair, and house lifting and levelling.

This work consists of various construction tasks in the carpentry field. We also construct temporary stairs and landings, decks, and cribbing. Willingness to assist in general plumbing tasks is also needed. Our shop is based out of Headingley, two minutes outside of the west perimeter. Approximately 75% of the work takes place outside, throughout Manitoba and NW Ontario, and may lead to being away for up to ten days at a time. Weekends may be required to work through. Meals and travel time are covered when out of town. Other days are spent at the shop and around the Winnipeg area. Hours can vary from 35-60+ hours per week. We try to schedule extra long weekends and time off when working numerous days and hours consecutively.

Must be a non-smoker. Smoking of any kind, cigarettes or vapes, are NOT allowed on any of the work sites or inside the vehicles.

**Duties**:

- Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor on construction sites
- Operate hand and power tools of all types
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish project goals efficiently

**Skills (REQUIRED)**:

- Experience in construction field (2 years preferred)
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable crawling under houses and working off of ladders
- Willing to work 10-12 hour shifts while being out of town
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to commute to the shop is a must
- Must be able to speak English

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
