Functional Analyst

**Functional Analyst**
- Vancouver/Toronto/Remote_

Join our specialized dealership services team as a functional/business analyst and become a centerpiece in replacing our loan management systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand, analyze, document and support partners/users in clarifying their needs.
- Perform complete, fully documented and substantiated analyses that are based on solid evidence.
- Formulate professional opinions and make pragmatic recommendations in compliance with established standards, rules and guidelines.
- Examine data and reports to identify underlying trends, major gaps and root causes of a various issues.
- Actively contribute to solving operational problems and proposing solutions to improve processes and methods.
- Carry out duties and achieve the deliverables under personal responsibilities in collaboration with other stakeholders in the field or workgroup.
- Support partners/users throughout the delivery process while guaranteeing the quality of the service provided.
- Actively participate in all of the team’s activities (ceremony preparation, definition of done, etc.).
- Design, develop and implement information systems business solution
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery
- Provide recommendations on the design and planning of our network
- Support in the maintenance of sector infrastructure

**Desired profile**
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, administration or other relevant training of a similar level and two to five years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical, processing, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Good communication, writing and lay explanation skills
- Ability to maintain healthy work relationships with stakeholders in various sectors and at various hierarchical levels.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally with technical and non-technical staff
- Appreciation and promotion of internal partner/user contact.
- Curiosity, autonomy, discipline and analytical thinking.
- Desire to continue to learn.
- Working knowledge of English (verbal and written); bilingualism is an asset.
- Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry is an asset.
- ECBA an asset
- Experience tools such as Azure would be an asset.
