As one of Canada's largest marine engineering integrators, we are looking for talented individuals to bring their skills to Fleetway as we lead the way in Canadian naval defence contracts (In Service Support). Our work is project focused on government ship design and support, including warships, ferries, ice-breakers and commercial vessels. We are looking for a qualified
**Jr. Data Analyst** for our
**Dartmouth, NS** office.

**Key Responsibilities and Outcomes**:

- Support and conduct Crewing Analysis within ISMAT, a discrete-event simulation and human performance modeling software tool developed by Alion Science and Technology.
- Conduct rigorous Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) of theoretical crew models as part of a modelling and simulation process and support the authoring of a Modeling and Simulation Plan.
- Prepare, manage, manipulate, and critically evaluate large and distinct datasets in support of the modeling and simulation of a theoretical crewing model.
- Supported by proven process and validated data, professionally defend the results of the statistical analysis, data sets, and modeling &simulation as critiqued by the client in both public forum and written response.
- Design and integrate, intermediate data management tools in Microsoft Access and Excel in the form of templates.

Skill, Capabilities, and Experience:

- Education Required:

- post secondary degree with a major in one of the following: BSc or BA Managing Data Information, Statistics, Data science, Mathematics or Applied Computer Science
- Years of Experience Required:

- Minimum 1 year managing database with large data sets prefered
- Advanced computer skills including XML, macros, and scripts

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance
