**Job Title: Healthcare Companion Driver (Part Time/Casual Position)**

**Compensation**: $19-$21

**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate **Healthcare Companion Driver**to transport veterans to and from medical appointments. This is a part-time/casual position, ideal for someone who is community-minded, flexible, and committed to providing a respectful and safe transport experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport veterans to scheduled medical appointments, both locally and long-distance (including destinations in the local area as well as Petawawa, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas)
- Provide courteous, professional, and timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Assist clients in and out of the vehicle as needed
- Monitor and report any concerns or incidents promptly

**Requirements**:

- Valid CPR Level C, Standard First Aid, and AED certification
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver’s license (Class G or equivalent)
- Current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Comfortable with long-distance driving
- Prior experience working with veterans or in healthcare/transport settings is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

**Additional Information**:

- Casual hours; schedule varies based on client needs and appointment locations
- Long-distance trips may include early mornings, late returns
- Ideal for retirees, part-time workers, or those seeking flexible hours
- Orientation and training provided

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
