As the Plant Janitor, you’ll play a key role in upholding our hygiene standards in line with FSSC and quality requirements, while supporting a team that’s passionate about quality, care, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll Do
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic facility by adhering to our sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food safety standards.
- Accurately complete sanitation records and support inspections by following procedures and reporting issues.
- Operate a range of cleaning equipment by following safety protocols and promoting workplace cleanliness.
- Maintain exterior areas such as walkways and parking lots, including seasonal snow removal and debris cleanup.
- Manage garbage and recycling and assist with ordering and restocking janitorial and PPE supplies.

What you Bring
- 1-2 years of janitorial and sanitation experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures, cleaning equipment, and safe chemical handling
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and bobcats considered an asset
- Knowledge of WHMIS and food safety standards is an asset
- Ability to follow and communicate clear verbal and written instructions
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
