**ABOUT THE POSITION**

Nahanni Construction Ltd. is hiring concrete finishers for the B2 Gold Mine Project in Nunavut.

**SCOPE**
- Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor for concrete projects;
- Clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, set braces to support form work;
- Understand and execute concrete procedures to meet with specifications of the project;
- Setting forms that hold concrete in place;
- Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed;
- Ensure poured concrete is laid and finished to the highest standard Operate equipment as needed;
- Participate in daily toolbox talks;
- Participate in weekly safety meetings;
- Advise supervision of unsafe conditions or acts that may be a hazard or danger to oneself and other workers;
- Report all incidents/accidents including “near misses”

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Ability to learn quickly and keep up with tight schedule
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Able to complete physically demanding work with significant periods of standing and kneeling.
