Hyperbaric Technician

**Reporting to the Program Manager and Hyperbaric Safety Director.**

**Prepares, educates and orients patients about HBOT.**
- **This includes lifting or transferring patients, getting them ready for treatment administration and answering their questions**:

- **Administers the oxygen therapy which includes monitoring and controlling the hyperbaric equipment, as well as monitoring the patient(s) responses during the session and making proper adjustments to ensure the patient's safety.**:

- **Make appropriate data entries for daily treatments via Electric Medical Record (EMR)**:

- **Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and support oxygen systems as required.**:

- **Education: High school or equivalent**:

- **Certification: CPR Certification - Basic Life Support**:

- **Prior experience in patient care preferred**:

- **Paramedic or Physical Therapist preferred but not required**:

- **International Medical Graduates can apply**
