Steel Enclosure Painter

**Job description**

This integral role to our company's growth would be suitable for a person with various levels of industrial/automotive painting and prep work experience.

The painters are responsible for monitoring and completing the paint process from start to finish and achieving our deadlines. You will work alongside our painting crew to complete body work, prep, priming, painting and touch up stages of our projects.

- Utilizing body filler, caulking, grinders and palm sanders to prepare the unit for priming and painting.
- Preparing the unit and parts in a manner that achieves an aesthetically pleasing and durable final product.
- Operating the paint spraying equipment to spray Polysiloxane, Epoxy, Enamel, and Mastic products.
- Working with our purchasing department to maintain the required consumables required.
- Maintain our 3-4 day painting turn over time from start to finish with the units.
- Completing the paint process to our project specific specifications.

**Education, Experience and Requirements**
- Minimum 1-year experience in industrial/automotive body work, prepping and painting or similar work is required.
- Forklift license is an asset although in-house training can be provided.
- Experience with industrial/automotive type paint spraying equipment is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per year
