Relief Superintendent

Responsibilities:

- Work under the current superintendent with the potential to move into a full time role in the future
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the building's systems and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or areas in need of repair
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance projects
- Respond to tenant requests and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, etc.
- Work under the direction of the property manager and superintendent

**Requirements**:

- Experience with HVAC systems, low voltage electrical systems, and general mechanical knowledge
- Swimming pool knowledge an asset but training is available
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various building systems and equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously
- Ability to fabricate or repair minor items as needed

Pay: From $150.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week

- 8 hour shift
- On call
