We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional care to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, particularly seniors and those with specific health needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients through personalized care and support.
**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide meal preparation and planning to ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients with dementia care by providing a safe environment and engaging activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs and progress.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and senior care best practices is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies is a plus.
- Certification in CPR or First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
