Pharmacy Technician

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient service and care, ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient needs and contribute to optimal health outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Perform intake processes, including verifying prescriptions and patient information.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock for efficient pharmacy operations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold safety standards within the pharmacy.

**Qualifications**
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes is essential.
- Experience in acute care environments is highly desirable, particularly with critical care patients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques is a plus, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Pay: $22.33-$36.60 per hour
