** All applicants MUST have experience with Woodward or other engine or turbine control systems and experience with power generation, also be a current resident of Canada **

Responsibilities will include:

- Various aspects of design, installation and commissioning of control panels for projects
- Assisting sales staff with product specifications for controls upgrades
- Assisting sales staff and technical staff with single line and full drawing interpretation
- Onsite installation of new controls, upgrades, panel installation, wiring, commissioning of new controls
- Willing to travel for service calls and commissioning - travel expenses paid by employer
- Understanding of electrical schematics and drawings, ability to interpret drawings
- Experience with different types of control systems related to engines, turbines and power generation
- Experience and knowledge of generator controls and excitation systems would be needed to fulfil this role
- Experience working with some combinations of natural gas / diesel engines, steam or gas turbines. Preferably a good understanding of natural gas engines.
- Preferably hold either a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Power Systems Technician, Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket or a combination of any of the noted.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Current safety tickets are a plus
- High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong understanding of both AC and DC electric circuits
- Panel-building experience
- Field service experience
- Attention to detail and customer service
