The shuttle driver, lot driver; transports vehicles around our site to prepare them for loading on commercial transport trucks. In addition, they assist the dispatch and commercial transport driver team with loading information and paperwork.

This position coordinates the shunting of vehicles on site to prep / stage units for loading and unloading. When not shuttling vehicles, the role often performs administrative support tasks. Including but not limited to data entry, dispatch support, record keeping, computer usage etc., Primary responsibilities include the safe transportation of all vehicles within our yard in Brampton ,On

**Responsibilities**

  • Organize / stage / park inventory vehicles within compound.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the bill of lading (keys).
  • Safely transport units to and from destinations within the property as requested.
  • Help prepare vehicles for delivery and pick up GPS tags, gate passes, quick inspection etc.
  • Catalogue and store keys.
  • Perform daily inspection of lot for unlocked vehicles and lot security.
  • Ensure the lot is arranged, organized and free from litter and debris.
  • Support dispatch and admin with order entry and driver paperwork as required.
  • Computer use, excel, internal systems, phones etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
  • Clear Driver’s Abstract
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Good judgement
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must have manual transmission driving experience.
