- **POSITION TYPE**: Full-Time Position Available
- **SALARY**: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum
- **POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)
- **DUTIES**
Reporting to the Manager, Campus Store and Print Shoppe, the Operational Specialist ensures the digital print production work processes are followed, deadlines are met, exam security processes are followed, print production quality is consistently reviewed, and final output of products are of high standard ensuring customer satisfaction. The Operational Specialist will provide training on digital production processes to Ancillary Services Operational Support Staff. Other responsibilities include ensuring health and safety processes are followed on the Print Shoppe floor and proactively maintaining production equipment and inventory supply.
- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree, diploma or certificate in Print Production or Graphic Design, or a combination of education and experience may be considered
- Technical print production experience, use of digital print production devices, including monochrome, colour, and wide area format printers, finishing and bindery equipment
- Demonstrated ability to assist in solution design and provide consultive input and analysis based on client ‘best practice’ and standards through device/asset reporting, data collection and evaluation vs. predetermined measures
- Effective planning, organizational and time management skills, including managing floating daily objectives based on urgency and importance
- Ability to work independently, or as part of a team and to take initiative to improve customer service
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal/external audiences and customers
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of digital rights management, ILM and course packs

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- This position may be required to travel
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anishininwak, Dakota Oyate, and Denésuline, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
