The city of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation. **About the Department of Financial Services**: Mount Royal University’s Financial Services Department is responsible for the accurate and timely capture, analysis and reporting of all financial information for Mount Royal University as well as Mount Royal Foundation, and Mount Royal Day Care. **About the Role**: Mount Royal University is currently seeking a Delivery Clerk to join our Procurement Services Group, located at our Lincoln Park Campus Calgary office. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, this position will support the shipping/receiving area focused on daily deliveries. **Responsibilities**: - Prompt delivery and pickup of all inbound and outbound courier, freight and mail shipments to and from the different departments on campus. - Logging of inbound shipments in accordance with department procedures. - Assists the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor with surplus disposal (e-waste, scrap metal, auction items). - Physical receipt of goods - accepts inbound courier, mail, and freight shipments, verifying their completeness and ensuring that all visible damage is documented. - Preparation of outbound courier, mail and freight shipments - completes courier waybills, freight bills and assists with packaging when required. - Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment in the Receiving office and dock area.
