Maintenance Pool Operator

As a Full-time **Pool Operator **for the Millcroft Inn & Spa you will maintain the cleanliness of the hotel pools as well as perform other maintenance functions such as maintenance, modification and repair work with pool equipment, minor plumbing and electrical repair.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Maintains pool chemistry and circulation at proper levels.
- Responsible for pool heater maintenance and operation.
- Performs water tests, calibrates automation, and trains designated staff in procedures.
- Checks pumps and motors.
- Inspects and maintains chemical feed system; pool fittings, hardware; pool covers.
- Establishes and coordinates an annual preventative maintenance program for the hotel’s pool.
- Performs general repairs and overall maintenance to plumbing, electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
**What you'll bring to the team**:
- Certified Pool Operator Certification (CPO)
- Safety training and experience either through courses and seminars or hands-on.
- High school diploma combined with seminars and/or courses related to maintenance.
- Excellent technical background in plumbing, mechanical, electrical and carpenter trades required to supervise staff and outside contractors.
- Basic knowledge of government legislation related to WSIB, Health and Safety, Building Trades and Fire regulations.
