Leamington, Canada DSS Full time

**Main Duties**:

- Oversee all Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for Lakeside Produce and Cervini Farms businesses.
- Oversee Payroll for all businesses and Labour Planning for Lakeside hourly employees.
- Oversee Information Technology needs for all the companies.
- Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, provincial, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Review cheques/EFT’s prior to signature for Accounts Payable.
- Oversight of Bank Reconciliations.
- Manage US Foreign exchange hedging and trade.
- Additional controller duties as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CA, CMA or CPA Accounting Designation.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in various corporate accounting and financial functions.
- A/R, A/P, Payroll, Corporate Tax, Forecasting, Sales Reporting and Analysis, Month End, Year-End Corporate Reporting Experience.
- Produce experience an asset.
- 3-5 years experience managing, leading and coaching teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

- Leamington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
