Vancouver, Canada Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel Full time

The Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel Bell Services Department is looking for a reliable team member to join the Rosedale on Robson Team.

The position has varied shifts including, mornings, afternoons, and evenings on a daily basis.

**Reporting directly to the Bell Services Supervisor, your duties will include the following**:

- Greet and open doors for guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with their luggage to and from their suites
- Provide guests with information about attractions and events around the city
- Provide guests with information about the hotel facilities and amenities
- Provide luggage storage for registered guests while keeping proper claim records
- Provide valet parking for registered guests when requested
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to the appropriate manager
- Comply with Rosedale on Robson policies and procedures to ensure guest and staff safety and security
- Help identify unwanted person(s) and take appropriate action to remove them from the hotel property
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- Must have a good understanding and command of the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and written
- Must have thorough knowledge of Vancouver and local attractions
- A second language such as German would be an asset
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods at a time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must have a valid drivers licence
- A diploma or degree in the hospitality field would be an asset
- Previous customer relations experience would be an asset
- Must be able to legally work in Canada and have the appropriate documentation
- Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience + grats
