**Financial Analyst** you’ll act as a partner to the business by providing valuable insights, financial modelling and reporting on monthly performance.

**Why We Need You**:
The Financial Analyst will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Strategic Finance team in developing and maintaining weekly performance dashboards and KPI analysis. You’ll work closely with the Finance department, Directors on our Logistics team and Particles across departments.

As a master of SQL you can build, maintain and troubleshoot data models with ease. You’ll contribute to budget and forecast processes, and support various departments with ad hoc financial modelling, including investment proposal. You enjoy identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and utilize technology to evolve our processes and reporting.

**Team size**: The greater Finance team is currently around 30 team members in Canada and Vietnam. This includes FP&A, accounting, tax, legal and planning competencies.

**Your Team**:On the FP&A team you will work alongside a Financial Analyst and a Senior Financial Analyst. You will also work closely with our Director, Logistics Excellence and Director, Warehousing & Fulfillment.

**Hybrid Work & Team Dynamics**:Our FP&A team is typically working together from our Vancouver office Tuesday to Thursday with the remaining days working from home. We are a very collaborative team that works closely together in tackling issues and implementing solutions. We are creative in our problem solving and happy to hop in and assist our teammates where needed. We also have a lot of fun together

**What You'll Do**:

- Maintain and continuously improve analytical models, dashboards, and automated reports
- Identify, analyze, monitor, and report on areas that could impact company profitability, growth, productivity, and sustainability
- Partner cross-functionally with other departmentsto support forecasting accuracy, and analyze actual monthly performance
- Select from available approaches to work through a particular problem and articulate the most important criteria
- Takes initiative to understand critical capabilities and proactively seeks out development opportunities
- Act as a financial representative on cross-functional project teams
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports, analysis, and calculations
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and work collaboratively

**Who You Are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field
- 1-3 years experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, data analysis (SQL programming experience is a big plus)
- SQL programming experience is highly preferred
- Progress towards CPA, CFA or other designation is a plus
- Previous experience with an e-commerce or retail company is a plus
- Respond positively to the ideas, experiences, agendas and perspectives of others
- Thrive in collaborative and team-based environments
- Strong analytical skills, able to translate the impact of analysis to the business.
- Excellent excel skills (macros, arrays, power pivots, power queries, lookups, index, etc).
- Proficient with G-suite / Microsoft Office Suite or related software
