**Job Summary**
We are hiring a **Temporary Electronics Assembly Technician** to help assemble and package our BLEShark Nano (compact wireless device) for a two-month production run. You will perform hands-on assembly and testing tasks from start to finish, making sure each unit meets quality and safety standards. This role suits someone with steady hands, strong attention to detail, the ability to follow clear procedures, and comfort performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. We are a fast-paced startup with a friendly, small team and we’re excited to welcome you aboard.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Solder a single-cell Li-ion battery to designated PCB pads using standard tools (soldering iron, flux, wire, etc.) and safety practices
- Attach adhesive antennas near the battery and secure device enclosures with screws
- Flash firmware over USB-C and run functional device tests
- Fold boxes, insert user manuals and accessories, and seal final packaging
- Assist with order fulfillment including labeling, palletizing, and preparing shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workspace

**Work Environment**
- Primary work is performed independently on the production floor; supervisors are on site in an upstairs office and may check in periodically
- Music, podcasts, or other personal audio are permitted while you work

**Schedule and Hours**
- Flexible on-site schedule between **7 AM and 7 PM, Monday-Friday** (occasional weekend shifts optional)
- **Minimum 40 paid hours per week**, which includes a **1-hour paid daily break** (approx. 35 hours of active assembly time)
- Two-month fixed-term contract with full-time pay

**Experience / Skills**
- 1+ year of electronics assembly, soldering, or small-scale manufacturing preferred (training provided)
- Ability to follow written work instructions and quality-control checklists accurately
- Comfort using hand tools (screwdrivers, soldering iron) and a computer for firmware flashing
- Good eyesight and fine motor control for small component work
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
