**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations related to transportation.
- Sometimes will be required to work early mornings and late nights as needed.

**Skills**
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission truck.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 Drivers License
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Basic skills for minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
