Veterinary Assistant

Here at the Cumberland Veterinary Hospital, we are a busy small animal practice focused on treating our patients like they are our own family. Our Veterianry Assistants work indepentently as well as with the veterinarians and technicians to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.

Our Veterinary Assistants assist the veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized patients, assist with surgeries and ensure animals have clean comfortable habitats during their stay. The position requires practical knowledge of hospital organization and services, animal patient care and knowledge of standard procedures.

Full time hours are available, which can range from mornings, evenings and Saturdays, some split shifts may be required. We offer uniform allowance and salary is based on experience.
