Site Supervisor

**Job Title: Supervisor**
**Location**: School Age Site
**Hourly Salary**: $26.48

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our School Age Site. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children, while also managing administrative and operational aspects of the program. This role requires a strong leader who can guide staff, support families, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
**1. Health and Safety**
- Ensure a healthy, safe, and hazard-free environment.
- Maintain current First Aid/CPR certifications for all employees.
- Oversee fire drills, evacuation plans, and safety equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

**2. Program Management**
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Provide vision and leadership for creating a high-quality program that meets the needs of children and their families.
- Ensure that the program environment supports children’s emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development.

**3. Family Engagement**
- Foster strong relationships with families and ensure their involvement in the program.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.

**4.Professionalism**
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in early childhood education.
- Participate in professional development and encourage the same among staff.

**5. Administrative Management**
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain all necessary documentation.
- Manage daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and communication with administration.
- Oversee financial management, including fee collection, budget preparation, and purchasing

**6. Personnel Management**
- Supervise and support staff, ensuring that all are trained and adhere to policies.
- Conduct staff evaluations and provide opportunities for professional growth.
- Recruit, hire, and orient new staff members.

**7. Career Development and Training**
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
- Implement annual performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
- Ensure all staff are trained in relevant protocols and procedures.

**8.Public Relations**
- Promote the goals and objectives of the center to the community.
- Collaborate with other educational institutions and centers to share ideas and resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Classified as an Early Childhood Educator II/III.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a child care management team.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a child care setting.
- Excellent communication skills with both staff and families.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
