St Barbara is searching for great people like you to fill a Heavy Equipment Technician position (full-time, permanent) at our open-pit gold mine in Moose River Gold Mines, NS. At St Barbara, you’ll be part of a team working safely to make enduring, positive impacts on your community and the world at large.

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Pay: $41.97/hour
- Healthcare & dental plan and RRSP (after probation)
- 80 hours of vacation (after probation); more after 1 year
- Overtime hours available

**Schedule**
- Full-time (36-48 hours/week)
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 12-hour shifts, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

**Duties**
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair all mining equipment, such as trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, light plants, water pumps, and light vehicles.
- Maintain and analyze predictive maintenance data.

**Requirements**:

- Red Seal as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic
- Valid driver’s license, minimum Class 5 or equivalent
- Ability to do physical labour for extended periods
