We are currently seeking a **Field Service Technician** to join our **Service Team**. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service of natural gas and diesel engines and generators. The technician will support customer satisfaction by ensuring reliable equipment performance and will participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency response when required.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

- Conducting startups, commissioning, calibrations, and load bank testing.
- Documenting all service activities accurately and maintaining service vehicles/tools.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through responsive service.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Required**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the standby or prime power industry, with field service experience.
- Journeyperson license (Heavy Equipment Technician, Millwright, Automotive Service Technician, or Electrician).
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills with proven mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to service, repair, and maintain stationary natural gas and diesel engines and generators.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic systems.
- Must provide own standard trade tools.

**Preferred**
- Prior experience with emergency stand-by generators.
- Advanced knowledge of A/C and D/C electrical systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and mentoring skills.

**Working Conditions**
- Field-based service with travel to customer sites.
- Shop and on-site environments (indoor and outdoor).
