The Warehouse Associate / Backup **Driver** performs multiple production related responsibilities including pulling material to be shipped. This employee will maintain organization and tidiness throughout their shift. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate performs back-up Driver responsibilities, as needed, which includes the delivery of insulation products as well as loading and unloading delivered product at scheduled job sites. This position will require professional customer interaction when delivering material to job sites and customer locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pull material to fill customer orders and prepare for shipping/delivery.
- Deliver material based on a pre-determined driving schedule.
- Conduct basic truck maintenance as needed.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical or maintenance related issues that need to be repaired to the Plant Manager.
- Complete daily logs as required in compliance with rules and regulations.
- Process paperwork including tickets and bills of lading, ensuring customer signature on receipts, and collect cash on delivery charges.
- Report to Plant Manager any issues that were addressed at the job site.
- Perform forklift operations as needed and in compliance with the forklift training and safety guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Current DZ Driver's License, required.**
- Previous experience working within a production or manufacturing environment, preferred.
- ** Two years of experience driving a straight truck, required.**:

- Valid driver's license to be maintained at all times in compliance with company policy and government regulations, required.
