Janitor/cleaner

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for maintenance and cleaning purposes.
- Conduct custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle heavy lifting as required for moving equipment or supplies.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client needs and requests promptly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
- Cleaning Technician required to have WHIMIS certification or willing to take course in order to work.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all work areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.28 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
