If you enjoy supporting others and are motivated to achieve our purpose of "Helping people live their best lives", this position may be a fit for you **WHAT DOES THIS ROLE ENTAIL?** In a typical day, you’ll be excited to start the day with a coffee in-hand, energized and ready to lead the finance team. **As manager, you will**: - Lead a team of six people - Mentor and develop young talent - Develop policies and procedures - Conduct process and change management - Perform succession planning **Accounting responsibilities include**: - G/L and reconciliation review - Financial reporting - Tax - Analysis and trending - Budgeting & forecasting - Payroll oversight - Familiar with Sage 300 or Sage Intacct **WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?** - CPA designation - Experience with computer-based accounting software (Sage) an asset, but not required - An eagerness to embrace Careica Health's coveted culture and live/promote our purpose and values each and every day - Note: Careica Health has adopted a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees to protect the health and well-being of our employees and clients._ **THE DEETS** - This is a full-time gig, with a 37.5-hour work week - Remuneration is highly-competitive including salary, an annual profit-sharing bonus and other perks - It comes with benefits galore, including a comprehensive health plan, RRSP matching, and four weeks vacation - Did we mention that your vacation and health benefits start immediately? **WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
