Solar Ambassador

_COMPENSATION: BASE + COMMISSIONS)_

**Solar Ambassador - door to door**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Generate sales leads by visiting prospective clients at their homes and businesses;
- Educate homeowners and businesses on solar and answer questions;
- Book on-the-spot appointments with homeowners/business owners and a solar advisor; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Criminal record check is required;
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract;
- Proficiency in English is required, bilingualism in French is an asset;
- Ability to work evenings and weekends;
- Previous business to consumer sales experience;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Excellent sales skills;
- Ability to handle rejection;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Previous door to door sales experience is an asset;
- Proficient with technology and software, familiarity with CRM’s an asset; and
- Previous experience in the renewable or sustainability industry is an asset.
