Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Service Technician in Val-d'Or, Quebec.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and mechanically inclined individual to join our vehicle fire suppression repair and maintenance team. Based in Val D'Or, you will join a company dedicated to your growth and development, and build your career through formal technical training and certifications from our manufacturers, as well as hands-on training with our experienced team from across Canada. Your role will involve working on various sites for our clients in the Val D'Or area, including underground mine sites.

- Salary ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical aptitude, a passion for health and safety and excellent communication skills are the most important qualifications for our new team member.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Ability to work out of town for extended periods of up to 12 hours per day, including overnight stays.
- Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent practical role with vehicles or other motorized equipment is a strong asset.
- Prior customer service experience will help you work effectively with our customers, both internal and external.
- You are naturally comfortable with technology and have experience using computers and mobile devices.
- As part of our commitment to a safe workplace, you must pass a drug and alcohol test before employment and provide proof of vaccination against the Covid-19 virus.
