Carpenter / Painter-drywaller

**Ocean Pacific Restoration Ltd.** has immediate opening for the following positions to join our team. We are a local own company since 1990. We dedicated ourselves to working with the insurance industries to restore homes affected by fire, wind, water, vandalism etc. We emphasize on a safe and friendly working environment. **Carpenter Position -**
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Finish and rough carpentry (casing, baseboards, cabinetry, doors, windows, framing, stairs, board ups and etc.)
- Insulation and vapour barrier installation
- Minor drywall repairs (i.e. patch) to paint-ready stage
- Minor painting to baseboards, trims and other materials
- Controlled demolition
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials and installation practices

**Drywaller/Painter Combined Position -**
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Preparation of site protection
- Repair cracks and holes
- Installation of drywall and finishing (small and/or large section)
- Application of tape and mud (small and/or large section)
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
- Perform various types of painting and texturing

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials and installation practices common to the trade industry
- Organized with attention to details
- Willingness to work overtime when requested
- Punctual, dependable and self-motived
- Excellent communications skills, written and oral in English language
- Work in a team or individually
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to safely lift, carry and move standard construction materials and tools
- Capable of lifting heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Perform rotation on-call
- Minimum 2 years of experience

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
