**The Opportunity**:
Thos. R. Birnie & Sons is currently looking for a
**Sewer Sales Representative** to join our team. In this role you will listen to the needs of our customers and work with them to determine the best services we can offer to meet their needs. Key job tasks include:

- Attend, follow up, and close sales on leads and opportunities that have been provided to you;
- Build customer relationships, selling the right products and services;
- Be available to attend sales appointments when clients are available, including evenings and weekends;
- Create sales proposals that are clear, accurate, and complete which can be easily transferred to the installation team;
- Get potential customers excited about our company and encourage them to spread the word;
- Become an expert of your market area, and know the customer's needs;
- Help set aggressive sales plans, propose expansions.

**What We Need From You**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Proven track record in sales.
- You are a great communicator and are able to connect and build positive relationships with customers and your team.
- You are a motivated individual, able to work in a fast paced and goal driven environment.
- You demonstrate a positive attitude and are willing to learn and grow.
- Prior knowledge of sewer, waterlines, and weeping tile systems considered an asset.
