With more than 30 years’ experience with high level oil, gas and petrochemical companies, Multi Instruments has developed a great working relationship with our customers and works very hard to maintain and grow a strong reputation as we expand our presence in Canada and the rest of North America. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Specialist to grow and learn, and to be the person with whom our customers will appreciate and enjoy their daily interactions.
**For our location in Alberta, Canada we are looking for a **Applications - Sales Specialist**:
**It would a preference if you would have**:
- Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar trades experience
- Electrical/Mechanical engineering with applicable instrumentation product experience and training would also be suitable
- Experience in piping codes and regulations would be an asset
- Solid knowledge of oil, gas and petrochemical industries
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central would be an asset
- CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solid Edge) would also be an asset
- Good Communication Skills, oral and written
This position will report directly to the Canadian Managing Director and will work directly with the Dutch head office.
**Further responsibilities**:
- Work with customers to select optimal solutions for instrumentation manifolds, close couple assemblies and winterization to fit their specific requirements.
- Order processing in all stages from quote to delivery.
- Management of incoming and outgoing material
- Manage customer/factory correspondence for active orders and opportunities.
- Manage items database, coordinated with Multi Instrument Instrumentation (The Netherlands)
- Identify, select and purchase third party hardware as required for Multi Instruments total solutions.
Regular hours of work are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Monday to Friday
