Overview:
Canada’s Wonderland brings holiday traditions to life with WinterFest, an immersive celebration featuring millions of Christmas lights, world class live entertainment, festive treats, rides, and skating on Snow Flake Lake in front of the iconic Wonder Mountain. Join our WinterFest team and be a part of the holiday magic.

This position pays $15.50 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with other duties as required assume control for the safe operation on their assigned ride for both guests and crew members
- Opening and closing procedures
- Assist guests with loading and unloading ensuring safety and memorable experiences
- Comfortable going on rides at designated location as part of opening procedures
- Ensuring safety of all guests and associates in a diligent manner
- Maintain park and location cleanliness
- Enforcement of Park Ride Operations standards
- Coordination of ride downtime responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with governmental ride regulations
- Responsible for calculating hourly capacity readings for the ride
- Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Able to work for extended periods of time outdoors in cold weather including snow conditions
- Able to shovel snow and lift up to 20 lbs as needed
- Must provide your own waterproof winter boots (flat and warm), hat, gloves and scarf
- Reliable source of transportation
- Able to wear protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask, and or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
