We are currently hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager at our Castlemore location in Markham. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks Having experience working with customer service, fast-paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation, and various other duties required in a cafe. Store Location: - 9850 Markham Rd, Markham ON L6E0H7 Key Qualifications: - 2+ years of Food & Beverage experience considered an asset - Strong customer service skills - Enjoys working independently and in a team setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated, organized, and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays Job Duties include: - Inventory management including but not limited to ordering inventory as required; - Performs monthly inventory counts including inventory receiving; - Responsible for ensuring that the store and all staff are compliant with Chatime’s current policies, procedures, promotions, campaigns, training content, etc.; - Maintains a healthy roster of exceptional staff by conducting frequent recruiting; - Responsible for enforcing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules of all spaces and equipment as per Chatime’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standard; - Helps to make daily bank deposits; - Responsible for buying local ingredients, supplies, etc., for the store as required; - Solves complex customer service issues; - Contributes and provides input for staff evaluations and supports for promotion readiness; - Responsible for scheduling and chairing monthly team lead and quarterly staff meetings; - Ensuring end of day reports and duties are performed correctly and funds are balanced daily; - Available as a first point of contact for any urgent matters or emergencies at anytime and taking the necessary course of action; and - Other job duties as required. Required education: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset. Operating Hours & Availability: - Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am.
