The _**Content Creator**_ at Pingle’s Farm & Willowtree Farm will serve as the Marketing Manager’s right hand, playing a key role in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across our range of digital channels (such as social, web & e-newsletters). With a focus on balancing storytelling and sales, this individual will work to ensure our digital presence supports our business offerings and goals, with effective messaging and community building. They will play a key role in helping to shape the two farms evolving digital strategy and online image.
We’re looking for someone to fill this role who is creative, enjoys thinking outside the box and trying to adopt industry trends to best serve our business, and has a hands-on approach.
The role will work across various projects for different departments at both farms and therefore needs to be a strong communicator and enjoy working within a team environment. We are a small team and love to work together and build off of each other’s ideas
- **Essential Job Functions**:_
- Understand and “get” the brands of the two farms
- Create daily creative content (photo and video) that generates engagement and grows social following and community.
- Help assist to create & implement a digital strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google & TikTok.
- Maintain & create content for two separate websites, under the guidance of the marketing manager (basic Wordpress skills required).
- Work with retail & kitchen teams to update weekly specials and features on the website.
- Update event information on Website, Social Accounts, and Google.
- Brainstorm and coordinate ways to target key areas to increase traffic to physical locations
- Provide creative support to the events team for event planning, set up, signage, and event print items.
- Communicate & coordinate with the chef & kitchen team for ‘media days’ covering items like seasonal features, event menus, and retail features.
- Create and deploy weekly newsletters for two brands using Mailchimp.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Suite.
- Confident using Canva to create graphics using brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with different departments and keep the project management & marketing calendar up to date

- Be able to work with Canva or some basic graphic design skills a MUST.
- Basic Adobe Skills required.
- Basic Wordpress knowledge (templated, no coding required).
- **What You Need To Succeed**:_
- Post-secondary education preferably in Marketing, Communications or Photography.
- Minimum 2 years work related experience.
- Knowledge of brand management & digital media.
- BONUS: A passion for marketing, with an open-minded approach and the ability to motivate others to see the end goal
This job will involve some travel between farm locations (Hampton, ON and Port Perry, ON) - so driving and owning your own vehicle is a MUST.
