We are offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to play an important role in our store leadership at our Coquitlam location. This dynamic role will involve all aspects of mentoring and inspiring an experienced garden centre team to fulfill our company vision while working to financial and operational targets.

**Does this sound like you?**
- A strong passion for providing an outstanding & memorable guest experience
- 3+ years of management experience in the retail/service industry
- Sales & Service driven, with the ability to overcome objections and find solutions
- Developing staff by evaluating and providing performance coaching, fostering a team environment to meet store and company objectives
- Ability to identify top talent and assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires
- Create a positive and respectful work environment; encourage open communication among employees; resolve their concerns in appropriate and timely manner
- Empathetic listener with ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills with the ability to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays as seasonal peaks require
- This job requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions and environments
- Strength in Microsoft excel, and utilizing our POS system for sales reporting
