**Job purpose**:To increase sales and profitability through the provision of quality customer service.

- Processes POS transactions efficiently

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and deliver personalized attention to each, always providing the best in quality service and value, earning repeat business
- Help retail customers locate products and advise on products as appropriate, troubleshooting through their problems to arrive on intelligent solutions
- Learn base knowledge of all Southern Irrigation products and services, expanding into more detail as time progresses, becoming an expert in our industry
- Set/achieve annual goals that help team, location and company reach strategic objectives
- Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars as required, striving for continuous self-improvement
- Process POS transactions and payments
- Maintain a clean, presentable and well-stocked retail space
- Bridge silos with coworkers within team, across location, and at other locations
- Exercise Extreme Ownership in all aspects of role
- Continuously demonstrate care for the company, community, colleagues and customers

**Competencies**
- Experience in irrigation, plumbing or similar industries is required
- Able to handle the pressure of multiple customers in a fast-paced environment
- Very driven to grow professionally and personally within role or to other roles
- Positive outlook and a clear focus on customer service
- Aptitude for POS and MS Office software
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on efficiency
- Able to self-motivate and bring value to the company during the off-season
